Following the huge success of the ADOUR series, thanks to its differentiating features of efficiency, single control and low consumption, LACUNZA is extending its range with two new inserts with a greater capacity, namely the LOIRE 700 and LOIRE 800 wood burning inserts. With its policy of continuous improvement, this Navarra-based company is evolving towards product excellence.
The LOIRE wood burning insert
The LOIRE wood burning insert offers high performance characteristics. The insert features Easy Fire Control technology, whereby a single control serves to regulate the optimum combustion system and the glass air wash of this wood burning appliance. The Perfect Combustion system permits optimum burning in order to achieve high efficiency values while its Double Combustion system ensures that the burning of the gas obtained in the primary combustion cycle gives greater efficiency and a longer burn time with less consumption.
This model also features other technological innovations such as the External Air Inlet, a ductable system that draws in the combustion air from outside the home and reduces consumption, and the Eolo System which makes it possible to heat different rooms at the same time, thanks to its high pressure ventilation system using centrifugal turbines and a speed regulator.
Other technological innovations include Extra Clean Glass, a novel air inlet system in which air washes over the glass to keep it clean for longer and Cleaning Access which allows the soot to be easily removed from the insert.
Common features of the ADOUR and LOIRE inserts
Due to the success of the ADOUR family, LACUNZA decided to extend the product family with the LOIRE stove, while maintaining some features in common. Both models are fitted with silent disconnectable centrifugal turbines, as well as a five-speed potentiometer so that the turbines can be switched on and off with a remote control. Both have a large fire viewing window and a ductable outside air intake. Both the ADOUR and the LOIRE feature a vermiculite lined firebox with cast-iron grill, 25 mm standard frame and a 150 mm flue pipe in all models. Of course, all offer a high efficiency rating and comply with the ECODESIGN2022 directive, which is mandatory from 1 January 2022 onwards.
Differences between the ADOUR and LOIRE models
The LOIRE wood burning stoves feature a greater total height, greater depth and higher wood capacity than the ADOUR. These inserts have a depth of 45 cm and height of 59 cm, with the option of two different widths, either the LOIRE 700 or the LOIRE 800. Furthermore, the LOIRE wood burning inserts have a larger fire viewing window, potentiometer with remote control and two centrifugal turbines.
Lacunza, which is part of the LACUNZA KALOR GROUP, therefore offers a family of inserts with a wide range of dimensions, with regard to width and height, and also corner and three-sided versions with high efficiency ratings, positioning these models as one of the best inserts on the market.
